What do you think, should I do it?

I get a fair bit of blog spam - comments advertising everything from sexual enhancers to fake anti-malware. This one just came in this morning:

Sweet! I can turn off all the blog spam just by e-mailing the criminals? Or, could it possibly be that this is a clever ruse find out what my e-mail address is so they can send their junk there too? Hmm. I think I'll just forward this to abuse@gmail.com.

They'll respond with a HTML document asking for you to pay something (not much) and when you do they capture your financial information.... they installed a bot on you system....

Just like sometimes I want a rubber car so I can slam on the brakes and bash the car that has been tailgating me for the last hour, I want a fake name, fake SSN, fake credit card number just to follow through on some of these scams just to see how far it would go to follow the money.
