XP antivirus seems to have mutated into an even more aggressive variation of it. It's not what it was back in March. Also, XP antivirus and Antivirus XP 2008 are very similar in symptoms, but they use different filenames and require different approaches to removal.

Not to mention xp antivirus installes all of these registry entries and if they are not removed then the next time you startup windows xp antivirus will start popuping up again. i went through hell trying to get rid of this!
